Comprehensive sleep services
In partnership with the
Sleep & Wellness Centers, United Memorial’s Sleep Center provides our
community with an accredited, state-of-the-art and comprehensive sleep lab. The
services we provide utilize sophisticated diagnostic tests to find what
ailments, conditions or practices may be affecting your sleep. This
comprehensive service is another way we’re meeting our patients’ needs and
providing innovative, quality care right at home.
We treat all of the 88 defined sleep disorders, with sleep apnea being one of the most common. It is characterized by pauses in or shallow breathing during sleep and frequently indicates that the airway has collapsed or is blocked. It is a condition which is frequently overlooked during office visits and usually witnessed by your sleep partner. Symptoms can include:

Other common sleep disorders include insomnia, fibromyalgia, restless leg syndrome and narcolepsy.

State-of-the-art technology and facilities
All of our sleep studies are painless tests conducted in our hotel-like facilities that feature clean, comfortable rooms that are tailored to ensure you have a pleasant stay.
The tests monitor various body functions to determine the cause of your sleep problems. To do this, we use the latest in diagnostic, recording and treatment equipment. This includes Alice Sleepware Software and Respironics Omni Labs machines that provide multiple options for positive airway treatments. Depending on a patient’s needs, these treatments can use equipment such as CPap, BiPap, BiPap S/V and BiPap ASV.
