Our outpatient services provide a convenient and accessible way to receive the diagnostic, rehabilitative and treatment care patients need in a convenient and comfortable setting.
Outpatient services include:
Pain Center
The new Pain Center at United Memorial is dedicated to relieving chronic and
acute pain through a wide range of comprehensive minimally-invasive surgical
and non-surgical techniques. Our multidisciplinary team focuses on patient
symptoms to identify and treat the cause of a patient’s pain.
Wound Care Center
Our Wound Care and Hyperbaric Medicine Center provides specialized treatment
for chronic or non-healing wounds, which are defined as sores or wounds that
have not significantly improved from conventional treatments. Adjunctive use of
hyperbaric oxygen therapy is used to in reduce swelling, fight infection, and
build new blood vessels to ultimately produce healthy tissue.
Sleep Center
United Memorial’s Sleep Center, in partnership with the Sleep & Wellness
Centers, provides our community with an accredited, state-of-the-art and
comprehensive sleep lab. We treat all of the 88 defined sleep disorders, with
Sleep Apnea being one of the most common.
Physical and
Occupational Therapy
Our Physical and Occupational “Therapy program is designed to help patients
recovering from surgery, illnesses or conditions that are sports related with
emphasis on restoring or increasing mobility and function.
Medical Imaging
Services
Medical Imaging Services at United Memorial feature digital imaging technology
to produce detailed images for use in making an accurate diagnosis. Imaging
modalities include Computed tomography (CT), DEXA, Digital Fluoroscopy,
Mammography, MRI, Positron Emission Tomography (PET), Ultrasound and X-ray.
Laboratory
Services
Using highly specialized biomedical instrumentation, our laboratory services
analyzes various body fluids and tissue samples to make or confirm a diagnosis,
monitor treatment programs, identify microorganisms and more
Cardiac Services
Outpatient Cardiac Services at United Memorial includes our cardiology practice
staffed by board certified cardiologists, comprehensive state-of-the-art
testing equipment and instrumentation and a cardiac rehabilitation unit. The 12
week cardiac rehabilitation program focuses on lifestyle modification and
exercise to help patients work on building up endurance and strength.
