Ambulatory Surgery / ASU

Welcome to the Ambulatory Surgery Unit- "ASU' or "Day Surgery." This unit is designed for patients requiring surgery that can be safely completed without the need for an overnight stay. United Memorial Medical Center is dedicated to providing "very good' care in an environment that is pleasant, safe and comfortable.

Your doctor will determine if the surgery you need can be done on an outpatient basis. This will enable you to recuperate in the comfort of your own home reduce your medical expenses.

During your one-day stay, you will be cared for by hospital staff that is skilled and experienced in caring for the needs of ambulatory surgery patients. Our staff will be with you from arrival through discharge to give you professional medical and nursing care.
