Quality care right at home.
Intensive Care Unit

The Intensive Care Unit (ICU) monitors and treats patients who are seriously ill or injured. Patients may be admitted after surgery, or because they require special care that is offered only in a critical care unit. The ICU provides constant observation and monitoring with the help of state-of-the-art technology including monitors and ventilators.

Nurses in the ICU are specially trained to care for patients with serious or complex illnesses. In addition to carrying out patient care as directed by doctors, the critical care nurse is responsible for managing all of the patient’s needs. This includes medications, nutrition, oxygenation, activity, rest, education, and emotional support. The ICU nurse is readily available to answer your questions regarding your loved one's care. To ensure patient privacy, we request families appoint one spokesperson to communicate with the rest of the family and friends.

The multidisciplinary team is a partnership of skilled health care specialists dedicated to your loved one's recovery
